In the heart of the Flaine Forêt district, the Résidence La Petite Ourse houses comfortable and charming apartments, the perfect base for discovering this beautiful resort of Flaine.
You are located just opposite the Flaine Forêt shopping arcade with its bowling alley, auditorium and essential shops. The elevator there will serve as a bridge to easily reach Flaine Forum, the dynamic area of the resort where most of the bars, restaurants and activities are concentrated.
And now let's talk skiing! From the point of view of equipment rental, you can equip yourself in the sports store located just a few meters from your residence. As for the start of the slopes, it is approximately 350 meters away and can also be reached by taking the Skibus (free shuttle) right in front of your rental. This will allow you to quickly reach the Gérats chairlift or the Grands Vans chairlift (where the ESF gathering and the Flaine Forêt Piou Piou Club are also located).

On the ski side, you will be located about 1km from ESF gatherings and Club Piou Piou de Flaine (in the Residence "Les Terrasses d'Hélios").
From the Hameau roundabout you can use the "Opal" track to access the Gérats chairlift (depending on the snow). To reach the other tracks and return to the Hameau you benefit from a free shuttle service; they travel all day, every 15 minutes.
The Genaral Store in Le Hameau, a few hundred meters from your residence, houses a bar/restaurant, a sports shop and a corner shop with the products of the first necessity; for more important purchases you can go to the Spar supermarket, located in the Residence "Les Terrasses d'Hélios".
However, you can reach any strategic point in Flaine by using Skibus (day) and the Hameau shuttle (from 18:30 to 23:45). In just a few minutes, you can find the neighbourhoods of Flaine Forêt or Flaine Forum, which are more lively and dynamic than the Hameau and where the start of the slopes also starts.
