Advantages
So many slopes and well signposted so I could always tell which slope I was on
Inconveniences
Some of the lifts need updating as quite a few drag lifts still and old fashioned designs which not always easy to get on. Weren't bothered about apre-ski as was there for the skiing and not for drinking - can do that back home! Wasn't easy to find maps of the area unlike other places I have been where most lift stations had maps you could pick up.
Good deals
Brasserie Les Cimes Flaine was a nice place to eat in evening as not a rip off like some places - still not cheap so only went there twice and cooked for ourselves the other nights!
