It is ideally situated, being just a short 5-6 minute drive to the Solaise Express lifts and the nearest pistes, and a 3-4 minute drive into the town centre, and with our drivers service included in the price, getting from the chalet to the slopes couldn’t be any easier. With something on offer for everyone, from absolute beginners to proficient skiiers, Val d’Isère is one of the most popular ski destinations. For when you fancy a break from the slopes, you can find a selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and boutiques to peruse as you stroll down the picturesque streets. Entrance to the chalet is on the first floor, which houses a conveniently located ski room with a boot heater, so you can easily grab your kit and slip your feet into a warm pair of boots as you dash out to the slopes in the morning. The lower ground features a laundry room as well as a lavish spa area with a sunken jacuzzi, a sauna and a rain shower so you can warm up and unwind after a long day of skiing, or simply skip the slopes for a day of relaxation and self-care. The chalet is equipped with free WIFI throughout, perfect for if you need to catch up on some work or retreat back into your room to catch up on the latest episode of your favourite show.

Chalet la Grande Sassiere is located in the much sought after resort of Val d’Isere, on a quiet private road which commands stunning views of this beautiful valley. The village itself is quintessentially Savoyard, with charmind stone and timber chalets and a gorgeous town centre, lined with a great selection of charming boutiques and delightful restaurants and bars. The chalet is located in the “Le Cret” area of the resort, which is around 12 minutes’ walk into the centre of Val d’Isere, 600 m away. It is roughly halfway between La Daille and Val d’Isere, which is great if you wish to head in the direction of the slopes in Tignes, as access is much quick from La Daille. Ski lifts, ski slopes and the ski school are 1 km fom the chalet. Outside there is a large hot tub on the terrace, another wonderful spot to enjoy the stunning views this chalet has to offer. Particularly at sunset, with a beer or glass of wine in hand whilst easing your muscles after a tiring day on the mountain. For a faster route into town, there is a free shuttle bus stop just a few minutes’ walk from the chalet.
