What are the benefits of cancellation insurance?

We strongly advise that you take insurance for your holiday. If you cancel your accommodation before departure without being covered by insurance, you will have to pay cancellation fees. Cancellation charges are likley to increase the nearer to the departure date, the cancellation is made. Taking insurance give you peace of mind that the cost of your stay will be reimbursed (except for administration charges and insurance premium) provided the reason for cancellation falls under the insurance regulations.

- An "accommodation cancellation" insurance means that the cost of your accommodation and the meal baskets (see terms and conditions) will be reimbursed.
- A "skiers cancellation" insurance means that the cost of ski equipment, ski passes, ski lessons and assistance on pistes (see terms and conditions) will be reimbursed.

What do you mean by "accommodation cancellation" insurance?

The accommodation and meal baskets (if purchased) will be reimbursed (except for administration charge and for prime insurance) if the reason for cancelling comes under the contract regulations.

What do you mean by "skiers cancellation" insurance?

The ski equipment, ski passes, ski lessons and assistance on pistes will be reimursed (except for administration charge and for prime insurance) if the reason for cancelling comes under the contract regulations.

I have already booked and I would like to take an insurance?

You are automatically insured once you have booked and insurance cannot be added afterwards.

How do I cancel my holiday through the insurance?

You must send an email to Ski Planet to request cancellation of your reservation. Ski Planet will first consider your request and redirect you to our insurance broker, Meetch. You will need to provide proof of cancellation and your invoice via a form.

What do I do in case of a skiing accident whilst on holiday?

If you have ski insurance, you must first contact Ski Planet by phone at 04 79 22 15 68 to file a claim. Ski Planet will first process your claim and redirect you to our broker's website, where you can file a claim.

How do I know whether my cancellation is guaranteed?

All cancellation conditions and reasons are available in your customer area. If necessary, please contact our Ski Planet reservations department. You will receive a response within 48 hours.
