The balconies as well as the spacious terrace offer spectacular views over the Val d'Herens and over the Valais 4000m-peaks such as Dent Blanche. Private parking is available close by. The restaurant called Le Bois Sauvage and a small supermarket are located in the centre of Les Masses. Indoor swimming pool and kindergarten (from 18 months on, in winter season) at Thyon 2000, ~6 km. There are charming winter hiking trails and snowshoe routes. The traditional village of Héremence is about 2.5 km away. There you can walk through picturesque narrow streets with historic wooden houses - a mountain village like in a picture book.
