De Montgenèvre pas is een geografische plaats van groot belang voor het skiën. Het zijn de prachtige Italiaanse hellingen en wordt gedomineerd door de toppen die tot bijna 3000 m hoogte komen. Daarnaast is het skigebied Montgenèvre - Monts de la Lune de zuidelijke poort naar het internationale skigebied van La Voie Lactée met zijn 110 kilometer aan gemarkeerde pistes. Je hebt ook de mogelijkheid om het skigebied van Voie Lactée (Olympisch gebied van Turijn in 2006) te ontekken, die 400 km aan skipistes biedt.
